Vega-Class Modular Reactor
Concept / Neocore Dynamics
Array Design Studio produced a complete visualisation and real-time asset package for Neocore Dynamics' Vega-Class modular reactor, conceived as a digital twin rather than a one-off render set.
The brief called for a single, game-engine-ready 3D asset that could serve two different audiences: an operator training scenario where the unit could be walked around and interacted with directly, and a live operational view where real SCADA data could be layered onto the same model for remote monitoring and control, as if standing in front of the unit in the field.
Deliverables spanned the real-time-ready model itself, an interactive control panel interface, and a set of static hero renders and print collateral drawn from that same asset, all built to a shared visual standard so the digital twin and the marketing material would read as one product.

The Digital Twin Concept
The Vega-Class Modular Reactor was never meant to be just a set of stills. The brief was to build a single high-fidelity asset that could live in a real-time engine: something an engineer could walk around and interact with directly, or use to operate the real unit remotely as if standing in front of it in the field.
That meant modelling and texturing to a standard that holds up at any distance and any angle, not just the handful of hero shots a still render needs. Every panel, seam, and instrument had to be built as though a trainee might reach out and interact with it directly, because in the intended deployment, they would.
The same asset was designed to support two different scenarios: a training mode, where the geometry and interface stand in for the real reactor before anyone touches the physical unit, and a live operational mode, where the model could be wired to a real SCADA feed, giving a remote operator an accurate, walkable view of the unit's actual state.
The static hero renders, UI screens, and printed brochure in this set are all pulled from that same real-time-ready model, giving Neocore Dynamics a consistent thread from investor presentation through to training simulation and eventual field deployment.

Behind the project
The Brief
A self-initiated concept brief: a high-fidelity digital twin for a containerised power platform, built to double as a training tool and a live operational interface.
Brand & Naming
Developed the Neocore Dynamics identity and the Vega / LYRA naming system, carried consistently across the unit, UI, and print.
3D Modelling & Real-Time Build
Full hard-surface model built to a real-time engine standard and staged for Unreal Engine / Omniverse, detailed enough to hold up to close inspection and direct interaction.
UI & Interface Design
Screen-accurate control panel graphics designed as the operator-facing HMI inside the digital twin, doubling as a standalone product render.
Studio Lighting & Render
A shared lighting and material setup used to pull consistent hero, three-quarter, and detail stills directly from the real-time asset.
Print & Publication
A four-page technical brochure laid out and typeset to sit alongside the 3D deliverables.
Print & brochure design
Deliverables beyond the render.
